Semester Classes for Winter/Spring 2022
We have so many classes beginning after the holiday break. This schedule does not include our workshops and individual classes. The classes listed below are semester based. The Winter/Spring Semester runs from January until May.
Elementary Art History- In this class, students will travel through history and learn about how art has evolved from simple cave drawings to modern day masterpieces and folk art. As we learn about each era, students will make art in the style of the people and artists of the time. At the end of the semester, students will host an Art History Museum for friends and family, complete with presentations. Students will work on individual and group projects. No prior art experience is needed. Class is open to ages 8-12 and will meet on Mondays from 10am-12pm. $150 per month, includes all supplies. Register Here.
Advanced Homeschool Art This class is not your traditional art class! Students will use their skills and artistic vision to work on a series of monthly projects that include fantasy art, art from nature, batik, and more. Samples of the students drawing or other art are required. This class requires the ability to work independently and in a group and is geared towards students that are serious about their art. This class meets on Tuesdays from 12pm-2pm. $150 per month, includes all supplies. Register Here.
Evening Classes for Kids and Teens:
Mommy & Me Arts & Crafts- This weekly class with Anna will be held on Friday mornings from 9:30am-10:30am. Each week will be a new craft that you make together and take home with you. $100 per month, includes all supplies. Register Here.
Preschool Arts & Crafts- The younger kids will adore their weekly class with Anna for this caregiver’s morning out session. This is a drop and go class every Friday morning from 10:30am-12:30pm. $150 per month, includes all supplies. Register Here.
Art Club- Jill will be leading a weekly art club on Thursdays from 5:30-6:30. Ages 10+ are welcome to attend. We’ll work on a variety of projects including sculpture, batik, printmaking and more. $100 per month, includes all supplies. Register Here
Lego Club- By popular demand, Scott Moore from Moore Bricks be offering a weekly Lego Club on Thursdays from 6:30-7:30. Students will work on a variety of Lego build challenges throughout the semester. $100 per month. If students wish to keep a build, the bricks will be available for purchase, otherwise bricks stay in the classroom for reuse. Register Here.
Fiber Arts Club- Melanie and Jill will be on hand to help kids ages 10+ explore the wonders of fiber arts on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30. Members can learn to knit, crochet, needle felt, cross stitch, embroider, hand sew, spin yarn, weave, and make rugs. Students will all try small projects in each of the fiber arts to find their preferred medium for larger projects as the semester progresses. $100 per month, includes all supplies. Register Here.
Semester Based Courses for Adults
Exploring the Fiber Arts- In this weekly class, adult students will complete a variety of fiber art projects that may include needle felting, knitting, crocheting, batik, spinning, weaving, and rug making. Jill and Melanie will lead the group, and guest instructors may join us from time to time. Group will meet on Sundays from 3:00-5:00pm. $200 per month, includes all supplies. Register Here.
