100 Assorted Brown and Tan #8 Wool Strips for Rug Hooking
Our wool strip assortments are perfect for building up your rug hooking stash. Each set of 100 includes five batches of 20 strips, chosen at random from our current stock. Photo is not the exact colors you will receive, but is a sampling of the types and shades of greens that we end up with in our stock.
Our new wool is purchased from local, independently owned fabric shops and Dorr Wool Mill. Our upcycled wool is purchased from a local "last chance" thrift shop. Items not purchased from this end of the line store end up in landfills, so we do our best to buy all of the 100% wool items they have. Thickness and texture of the wool varies.
Both our new and up-cycled wool has been washed and preshrunk using unscented organic laundry detergent prior to being cut into strips.
Please keep in mind the nature of wool fiber. It can be dusty, stringy or slightly irregular in length. Most of our wool strips are 14" long, but depending on fabric shrinkage can range from 10"-16" in the same color batch.
